Final update on Georgio's gift/donation to Cancerfonden

Hello everyone, Your contributions for both a donation to Cancerfonden as well Georgios's PhD gift are now complete. For Cancerfonden, SEK 1250 was raised. Since this donation will made electronically, those who joined will be named there. For Georgios, your generosity provided a SEK 2500 gift certificate for Mall of Scandinavia, a small bottle of Ouzo, and a set of antique cufflinks. The cufflinks will be needed during Georgios's graduation ceremony, where formal dress is required. A card has been circulated/signed and will be presented with the gift. I am attaching photos as well. Lastly, to organize this collection, I asked IT to create a mailing list: IS-unit-secret. This allowed for easily communication while "hiding" the people involved. This is easiily customizable and can be repurposed for future use. I will turn over ownership to Janis so contact him to access it. A final reminder that you can still contribute to Giorgios's PhD gift and/or a donation to Cancerfonden in honor of a colleague's recent loss. You can send money to me via Swish or standard bank transfer. Swish: 070 445 3982 Transfer: 5699 31 699 91 (SEB) Be certain to include your name in any donation and also note what your contribution is for (or make two separate donations with your name attached to each). Finally--my refrigerator died this afternoon and a new one is being delivered tomorrow "after 10". This means that signing the card will be a bit different than planned. I will pass it around during the defense and--as a last resort--will sign your names myself. Buying a gift for Giorgios and making a donation to a cancer charity

Hello IS Unit, I am collecting money for two important causes: a gift from our unit for Giorgios's upcoming PhD defense as well as making a group donation to a cancer charity for a co-worker who recently lost close family members. I have already purchased some antique cufflinks for Giorgios and intend to buy a nice tie as well.
